Trimbach's 2001s are particularly special! Jean describes the vintage as a marriage between 1989 and 1990. There is the juiciness of the 1989 combined with the structure and backbone of dry extract from 1990. Not a bad pedigree! The Frederic Emile and Ribeaupierre are truly stunning. Although they can be approached within three or four years, they have the potential to live at least twenty.
