Domaine des Aubuisieres Wine
Domaine des Aubisieres comprises some 26 ha of Chenin Blanc all within the AC Vouvray.
Bernard Fouquet is today one of the leading growes in the appellation. He is very passionate about terroir and hence vinifies certain of his lieu-dit separately to fully portray its character and individuality. The Le Plan de Jean is a vineyard with a clay/limestone soil. As with his other lieu-dit, the grapes are all hand picked with careful selection. This wine is fermented and matured in temperature controlled vats. It is a beautifully restrained and harmonious moelleux with a residual sugar of around 100g/l.
