Equipo Navazos Sherry No 22 La Bota Manzanilla (75cl)
Quite a robust nose. Deep, intense, rich and full of honeyed, gently maderised fruit along with hints of nuts and underlying vanilla oak. It develops grilled nuts, a whisky-like orange, restrained coastal notes and a slight perfumed top note.
Dry, soft acidity. Subtle and delicate maderised fruit mingles with a hint of coffee and nuts. It has a very intense chlorinated middle and a long salty finish. Extremely elegant! (CG)
Eric Rodez Cuvee des Crayeres
Produced from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, from six different harvests, 48% of which is from 2004. 93% is vinified in enamel lined vat with just 7% in wood. Most of the blend has undergone malo-lactic fermentation, with the exception of 15%.
The wine is pale, lemon gold in glass, with hint of green. Fine, delicate mousse. Delightfully clean, lively bouquet, floral, white blossom, citrus and mineral. Tantalizing vibrance on the palate, super , ripe, white fruit, complex, but harmonious – and light, not heavy. Really fine balance and persistent length. (VR)

Ripe, honeyed apricot fruits with fresh floral lift. Luscious, ripe, sweet, apricot fruit, with subtle hint of honey, but very elegant with fresh lift of acidity and long, clean finish. An ideal partner to Foie Gras, but equally delicious with a fruit based dessert.
