Youthful with a myriad of citrus notes trying to out dazzle the gathering peat; shows great subtlety and fun. Refreshing, with the barley insisting on behaving half the age it really is. The smoke appears lethargic but grows into a spicy crescendo; lots of vanilla amid the dusty malt; lots of coffee fudge to balance the smoke. (JM)
