Very peated, youthful aromas with a faint note of fishermans wellies. Beneath the raw peat is a soft fruitiness, crisp and granity orange, apricot and peach remind you that you are on Speyside not Islay. Immaculately clean on the palate, quite sweet, slightly salty arrival with oily coal/ peat smoke, crisp cereal fruit, but it is the peat which dominates the proceedings. Lovely sweet-dry balance, very long with the oak and granity fruit coming through on the finish.
