At this moment our American counterparts are producing some fantastic tobacco’s, mainly based around aromatic Latakia blends. I have been lucky enough to try a few of these tobacco’s, and all that I have tried have been superb. Two of the stars are Billy Bud and Sillems Black which are quickly becoming the most talked about tobacco’s online. Both are made from Black Cavendish, Virginia and Latakia finished off with the sweet casing we are used to with American Aromatics.
I have been messing about with a few ideas along these lines for a couple of months now and I am proud to announce we are almost ready to launch our own: “Deliverance”.
Made from a blend of Virginias, Black Cavendish & Latakia, all topped off with a sweet Vanilla & Chocolate casing. The tobacco is smooth, cool and very smoky. The sweet casings/flavourings really give this tobacco an interesting transatlantic flavour and style.
Deliverance will be launched at the January meeting of the Nottingham Pipe Club which will be held on the 9th January 2012(visit www.nottinghamtobacco.co.uk). The tobacco will be available in the shop & on our website from the 10th.
