Gauntleys of Nottingham is a fourth generation family business. Founded in 1880 by Thomas Fox Gauntley, the shop was situated along the historic Long Row in the centre of Nottingham. In 1962 business moved to its current address in the Exchange Arcade.

We are proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s leading wine importers and agency houses, specialising in wines from the Rhone Valley, Alsace and Champagne.

We are privileged to represent some of the world’s most prestigious producers, including many of the elite of Chateauneuf du Pape - Domaine du Pegau, Domaine Pierre Usseglio, Domaine Barroche, Domaine Giraud, Clos St. Jean and Clos Mont Olivet, the inspirational wines of Domaine Zind Humbrecht in Alsace – and the exceptional Champagnes of Laurent Champs at Champagne Vilmart & Cie.
